WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE GOOD?
When we talk about the goodness of God, we’re referring to his moral excellence and perfect righteousness. God is holy, just and loving. He always does what is right and has our best interest at heart.
As the apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”. Even in the midst of our trials and struggles, we can trust that God is at work for our ultimate good.
Through the Bible, we see countless examples. God’s goodness is loving compassionate, and gracious.
